100th Day of School!
Grandma Gertrude and Grandpa….They’ve been around for a hundred years. Gertrude thinks she’s never seen snow like we’ve had here since the Revolutionary War. She was a little confused….It comes with her age.
Another Grumps and Grandma. …. Grandma is suffering from a little runny nose.
A hundred hearts for the Saints….and a hundred puzzle pieces for her hat….
Math Challenge…
A hundred candy hearts……..well 200 from the Eguias!
A hundred paper hearts from Chloe’.
How about a 100 noodles from Luke….Where? On his hat!
Or a hundred ribbons from Hannah.
Whose team won the Geography bowl? Well, Chloe’s team pulled ahead with 495 points.
As you can see, PNA students enjoyed celebrating the hundredth day of school. Enjoying the snow….made it even more fun. School was dismissed at noon. But due to difficulty in concentrating, we stopped at 11 am to compete in a geography bowl for which many had prepared.

100% on an Algebra Semester Exam!
Well, we’ve had students who have made some amazing 100% scores. But we had one who scored a 100% on an Abeka Algebra Semester Exam, and she made her teacher pretty proud. Good job, Maddie !
Her teacher was so impressed that she gave her 4 points for the merit store, a You Rock card, 2 treats from the candy jar, a nice cozy chair for the afternoon, and allowed Trent (his idea) to run home to get 2 large trophies to place above her desk. I think her classmates were equally impressed.

A LITTLE OF THIS AND THAT
Our students recently enjoyed celebrating Trent’s 16th birthday. They also enjoyed getting to see Adonna, a previous classmate’s, baby boy. As you can see Abby is proud.

Christmas Party 2009
Our kids had a great time celebrating Christmas at school. To begin with, they acted out the Christmas story they had been reciting each morning. Corey was the narrator, and each child played a part in their own special way.
Bro. Steve judged the kids on their final round of acting. Corey and Aaron were the winners of the competition. Corey, you made a great narrator, and Aaron you played the donkey in such a creative manner. Good Job, guys.
The kids enjoyed playing several games and opening their Secret Santa gifts.
Ashlyn M. celebrated her birthday that day. She sure had a big smile when the gang sang “Happy Birthday”!
The kids sure enjoyed their pizza and refreshments. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!
