Bike Day is So MUCH fun!

PNA students enjoyed having their bikes with them at school. This is a day they look forward to each school year.
Lauran enjoyed a ride on a scooter.
Unfortunately, there are bad guys in our world. There were several at PNA on bike day. Guys like Nicholas went around robbing people of their coins! Coins were needed to purchase a drink at the nearby McDonalds ran by Chloe' and Maddie, and.... coins were necessary to buy valuable gallons of gasoline. Gasoline would help them to continue to make laps around the parking lot. Erica and Ashlan kept the gas station running smoothly.

Thankfully, the bad guys were caught and imprisoned until they could pay their own fine or someone would pay their bail. Luke was a tough jailer! He tried his best not to let ole' Aaron escape.

Our students had so much fun playing this little game that they wanted to leave their bikes at school for another day of fun. As you can see, this was a "wheely" fun day at PNA.

PS I'm sorry about the picture quality. My camera settings were all wrong, however, I think I now have them corrected.

Skunks, Skunks, Skunks....

Our fifth grade students were assigned to create a poster and an oral presentation on a mammal of their own choosing. Aaron chose to do his report on skunks since he had one when he was 4 years old. (You will notice his picture at the bottom of his poster. He is holding a baby skunk.) He shared information about the skunk's predators, prey, tracks, and where they are predominately found. His peers commented on how well he knew his report. Great Job, Aaron!

His fellow classmates did a wonderful job on their posters as well. Stay tuned for more on their presentations.

We can write in cursive!

Abby is learning to write in cursive. She wanted her picture taken in her office.
Bentley is learning to write in cursive. Bentley had his picture taken also. Thanks Abby!
Last but not least, Brian is learning to write in cursive. His office is the one with the red crayon.

If Only We Were in the 1st Grade!

Several older PNA students were a little envious of Lucas being in the 1st grade and getting to sing such fun songs. So all the of the school kids got to join in on a few minutes of real 1st grade fun....Wow! They sure had a SILLY time doing it too!

Lucas was sure proud to be joined by such a dignified group of peers! :) It sure made his activity time a lot more exciting!
