Turkey Art!

Chelsey enjoyed her art project today, and she really did a good job of decorating her turkey.

Here she is with Chloe and Lucas decorating their turkeys with various beans. How fun!

POLLUTION!

Maddie gave an oral book report about a non fiction book titled Pollution. She really did a good job of presenting her book report. She memorized her introduction and conclusion! She also told about her book without having to rely too much on her notecards! It is so wonderful to teach such dedicated students!

GOD BLESS THE USA!

Our school took a trip to the Veteran's Home here in Bossier City last week. We went with baskets of candy, cookies, and cards to hand out to everyone.
The kids really had a good time visiting with the veterans and thanking them for all they have done for our great country. Chloe' commented on how much fun she was having as we walked through the halls of the welcoming facility.
Our students (and Sara) sang "AmeriKids" for the veterans and ended their presentation with prayer. Thanks again to all the veterans who have served our country. May God Bless the USA!

Several things I like About School!

By, Ashlyn M. 7th Grade

There are several things that I like about school. I have a lot of very nice friends. We get three breaks: one around 10:00 am, one after lunch, and one around 2:00 pm. Pilgrim Nazarene Academy is a very good school to attend. We do Bible, Math, English, Spelling, Vocabulary, Poetry, History, Literature, and Science. School starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. On Fridays we get off at 12:00 PM. We have a computer to watch a video on the subject we are doing. In the mornings we put our things away, we say the pledges, we pray, and we sometimes sing. In conclusion, Pilgrim Nazarene Academy is a good school.

Abby, Bentley, and Brian all are doing well in their Kindergarten class. They did not get a report card this quarter..... But look for their pictures here next quarter.
Let's see how many more PNA students can earn Honor Roll next quarter!

What do you know about Mexico and France?

Ashlan, a PNA 6th grader, gave an oral presentation about Mexico. She shared information about the flag, geographical information, and other fun facts. She chose Mexico because her Grandpa Eguia was born and raised in Mexico. Viva, Mexico!

Michael shared information about France. Michael has a special interest in France since he was priviledged to visit Paris, the capital, with his dad a few years ago.

Both 6th graders did a good job of telling about their country and creating a poster about it. Congratulations on a job well done!

Show and Tell!

Bentley is proud of his tank made from Lego blocks. He said that with the help of his dad, he was able to build it. Great job, Bentley and Dad!

Pizza!!!

The school kids were treated to a lunch of pizza. Ashlan volunteered to make homemade chocolate chip cookies for a dessert. She is proud of her finished product. Hard work sure pays off.
Chloe' also made cupcakes to share with her peers. They were also a big "hit".
The boys sure did enjoy their pizza. Their eyes were sure larger than their stomachs.
The older girls......
and the younger girls sure enjoyed their pizza also. After eating a good lunch, the students enjoyed a short break and a good Christmas program practice. What a great group of kids!
