Be My Valentine!

Look at these Valentine Creators! They are the winners for our school Valentine Contest! Good Job, Erica, Maddie, Hannah, and Lucas! You should go into business. "Who made me a Valentine?" Luke was in awe when he found out that Chloe' did!Corey was the happy recipient of Ashlan's handmade card.
Who made me a Valentine? Well Nicholas, Lauran did! Isn't it cute?
Who made me a Valentine? Hannah was happy to see that Lucas did!
The kids enjoyed drawing names and making a card for a classmate. They were a little embarrassed to have to make one for the opposite gender. Wow! That will change in a few years!

Father Abraham

These students enjoy seeing how silly they can be while singing Father Abraham!
I was impressed at Tyler's participation. Great job, Tyler!
Now, you can't get much sillier than these two!

S is for Starfish!

B IS FOR BEIGNET!

Our 4th and 5th grade students were excited to share a special New Orleans treat with their fellow students---Beignets. Well, it was our version of them!

The students enjoyed them immensely! They were a very popular treat!

SCIENTISTS IN THE MAKING!

Our 7-10th graders completed a science project which included a research paper, experiment, display, and oral presentation. Some examples are as follows:
Ashlyn completed a study on pollution and its effects on our environment.
Trent experimented with dry ice as part of an investigation on carbon! He really captivated the interest of his listeners.
Corey told about Mold, and he shared his investigation of how mold grows. He also found that it takes a while for mold to grow on bread made with preservatives.
Erica demonstrated how conductors and insulators work. She showed how electricity can travel through the lead of a pencil.
Great job, students!
