Hey This is Becky Hanafin (I am your teachers sister) We live in Charlotte NC. North Carolina's capital is of course, Raleigh. North Carolina is known for it's Tobacco, (ask Mrs Robinson to sing you a little song about T-O-B-A-C-C-O). North Carolina is Bordered by The Atlantic Ocean, Virgina, Tennessee, and South Carolina. North Carolina has Mountains which are the Blue Ridge. It also has areas called the Piedmonts, Sandhills and of course Ocean. Charlotte, North Carolina is the home of Big Banking (before failure). We have a professional NFL team, The Carolina Panthers, Basketball NBA Team, The Charlotte Bobcats, Minor League Baseball, The Charlotte Knights, Professional Hockey, The Charlotte Checkers. The climate has a little bit of all to offer, we have Relatively cold winters, with occassional measureable snow, We have rainy spring, somewhat dry summers, (we just survived a major drought) and seasonal fall. Charlotte and North Carolina is a Nice Place to Live.
