We'd Like to Hear from You!

If you visit our school blog, please let us know! Send an encouraging message to the school or to any one student in particular. Also, please include some information about the state in which you live. Our school email address is pnaisbest@gmail.com. You may also leave a comment below this post if you wish.

We will keep track of the states from which we receive responses. We will post the results in a few weeks.

Our students will enjoy hearing your messages. Also, please feel free to refer a friend or relative to our site to help us receive as many responses as possible.

One name will be chosen to receive a special gift from our school. So get on your mark, get set, and type. Who knows, you could be the HAPPY RECIPIENT!

Thanks for participating,

A Biography of My Brother!

by Chelsey
My brother's name is Gary Roy. He was born on October 12, 2004. He was born in Shreveport, LA at Willis Knighton South.

He is the only boy in our family. Recently, he went through a surgery to remove his appendix. Now, he is better and has gone back to playing and having fun.

I love my brother and missed him. To sum it up, he is the only brother I have. He is very special to me. My brother is brave and fun to play with. He likes to watch TV, watch movies, and sleep with Mom and Dad.

READ! READ! READ!

Carrie did a good job on her oral reading today so she chose a treat from the canoe!
Lucas enjoyed choosing a prize also!

Aaron tried to finish reading a book for a report! Great Job!

We're Ready to Get Started with Our Next Subject!

Michael and Ashlan wait patiently for permission to get started with their next subject. They are really a great team of 6th graders.

Christmas Memories!

And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.....
And Joseph also went.....with Mary his espoused wife....

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields keeping watch over their flocks by night....
And the angel said unto them.....Fear not......
And there was with the angels a multitude of Heavenly Hosts praising God and saying Glory to God in the highest and on Earth, Peace, Goodwill toward men!
Our students had a good time practicing Luke 2 while acting it out with only a few props. They did a wonderful job! I thought these were worth posting even if they are a little late.

WE'RE BUSY!

Wow! It is busy around Pilgrim Nazarene Academy. We are back in the grind of things after a wonderful Christmas break.

PNA students enjoyed a time of eating out together last week. They chose to go to Chef Lee's for lunch. They enjoyed every minute of their time away from school. They earned a complement from a restaurant employee! They were glad because for every complement they received, they knew that they would each earn a punch to use at the school store.

Next week is the end of the quarter. Remember that all extra credit is due by next Monday
Encourage your students to STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! Let's see who will have A or B Honor Roll this quarter! Also, we will have an incentive trip to Dallas to see the King Tut Museam Display! I wonder who will go?

Have a great week!
